What is Biblical Counseling?
Not all human concerns, however, need to be medicalized. "I praise you because I am... wonderfully made." (Psalms 139:14). Therein lies the difference. Who knows more about the "whole heart, soul, mind and strength" (Luke 10:27) than the creator of them? Biblical counseling benefits all who seek to understand themselves and their circumstances through the eyes of our Creator. Foundational to biblical counseling is the message of the gospel found in the written word of God and embodied by Christ. As the beauty of grace is generously administered, we are transformed from the inside out.
The 66 book library is really a collection of love letters from heaven to humanity about a father who's lost his kids and has sacrificed everything to get them back! Biblical counseling seeks to restore and maintain wholeness of the spiritual heart, soul, mind, and strength. Through the stories of loss, redemption, and restoration as revealed through scripture, we begin to see ourselves as we really are and are invited into a relationship that is truly transformative.
What Should I Expect?
- Use of the Bible~ As both descriptive and prescriptive to address matters of the soul. Our time together will be about applying the timeless message of the gospel to practical issues of today.
- Prayer
- Practical suggestions of things to do in between our sessions to help apply what you're learning.
- Safe, judgement free space to share, heal, and grow.

- Psychospiritual education
- Fee for service
- Session length options of 45-90 minutes
Although not accepting insurance, my desire is for all to have access to the help and support they want and need. Services are both affordable and approachable.
Sessions are available In-person and virtually.
Please note: I am not a licensed counselor or mental health professional. I offer faith-based, non-clinical counseling and discipleship, and I refer clients to licensed providers as needed.
